Bangkok. The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce is now able to promote Made in Italy products more effectively across the entire territory of Thailand, thanks to an agreement signed between the Secretary General, Michele Tomea, and Dirk Jan Herman Arts, Managing Director of Demo Power Thailand, a company specializing in marketing and product testing for the retail market. “We are delighted to be able to provide Italian companies and local distributors with this important promotion tool,” comments Michele Tomea. “With this agreement we are now able to bring Italian products to over 1000 retail outlets and shopping malls all over the country to all metro and sky train stations in Bangkok (MRT and BTS) and two international airports”. The effectiveness of this kind of marketing, exclusive to companies working with the CCIE in Bangkok, is to create custom and capillary marketing campaigns to showcase the best of Italy to a nation of 67 million people who represent the second greatest economy in Southeast Asia. Italian food is the first sector of interest, but other products will also benefit from these campaigns with discounts for companies associated with the Chamber of Commerce who utilise this service.
