(June 5, 2017) In the heart of Serbia the “Splendor of the Renaissance”: this is the title of the exhibition that will take place from June 7 to 30 at the Museum of the City of Belgrade, promoted by the Italian Institute of Culture in collaboration with “King Studio” by Fausto Fornasari and the Museum. The exhibition will be inaugurated on Wednesday, June 7 at 6.30 pm and will be open every day (except Mondays from 11am to 7pm). The basic idea of the exhibition, a true “ambassador of Italy” in the world born in 1989 in Mantua, is to revive a part of the Renaissance that has disappeared and now one can only imagine through the figurative material. The precious fabrics of the Renaissance and Baroque, the sumptuous ceremonial dresses for the great parties at Italian courts and the decorative elements that were created on such occasions are no longer visible, if not in a few and deteriorated original pieces preserved in some museums.
