PecPeja – Senior Staff of the Italian Army and Italian Tennis table Federation, with the support of the Ministry of Defense and patronage of the Italian National Olympic Committee and of the Italian Paralympic Committee, will bring tennis table to some of the operating theaters abroad where Italian military are employed. The engine of the idea was Lieutenant Colonel Gianfranco Paglia, proponent of the birth of the Paralympic Defense Sports Group and adviser to FITeT. A delegation to PecPeja, Kosovo, composed by the Undersecretary of Defense, delegate to sports, Gioacchino Alfano, Lieutenant Colonel Paglia and Fabio Di Silvio, will be leaving on August 7. The purpose of the mission, which will last until August 10 in the Italian base in Kosovo, is to carry out the usual visit to the departments involved in the operational missions by the summer, and present to the military a sports discipline through a mini tournament between athletes from local sports federations and our military.
