(Apr. 23) Italian shipyard Filippetti has brought its new Navetta 26 to Shangai, for the 17th edition of the CIBS China International Boat Show, which closed yesterday. The boat, first model in the green series of the Italy-based company, has been one of the biggest on show at the Chinese event, and it has gained a lot of attention from ship owner and players. This yacht is designed in an eco-sustainable manner, complying with rigorous principles of environmental, without ever losing sight of the tastes of the owner. It is certified ‘Green Star Yacht’ by the RINA (Italian Ship Registry). The owner of the Navetta 26 has two large spaces available. The first is the imposing owner’s cabin on the forward deck, which occupies 40% of the total volume of the vessel and is further divided into two areas. From the cabin, by way of a descending internal ladder, a second large space is accessed, which includes a bath with shower or jacuzzi tub and sauna, locker and a further bay. The second large space is found in the aft, on the upper deck. Usually destined for storage of the tender, on the Navetta 26 this is a large solarium. On board, the other protagonist is light, found everywhere. In the owner’s cabin the windows run 180 degrees toward the bow and guarantee an ample view of the external panorama. In the lower deck, the VIP cabin takes up the entire beam of the boat and, on both sides, it has large port holes.
Propulsion is entrusted to two engines each with 715 horsepower each. The boat has been revealed at Filippetti’s stand in Shangai at the presence of the Filippetti family. (Peg)
