(Aug. 9) – Italy’s National Aerobatic Flying Team will take part in the celebrations of the centenary of the Russian Air Force, to be held from August 10th to 12th in Zhukovksy, at the Airport Ramenskoye. The Frecce Tricolori will perform out a 25-minutes program, during which ten Aermacchi MB -339 aircrafts will execute their most famous aerobatic maneuvers, from looping to the world’s longest flag, through the historical ‘”Arizona” or “Bomb”. “We are very pleased and proud to welcome to Moscow the Aerobatic Team,” said the Italian Ambassador to the Russian capital city, Antonio Zanardi Landi. “The Frecce Tricolore represent an extraordinary example of the perfect union between technology, creativity and professional excellence typical of our country. In this sense, the show of the Team is the best anticipation of the promotion program ‘Eccellenze italiane d’oggi’ (Italian Excellence Today) in the Russian Federation, sponsored by the Italian Government with the support of the Government of Moscow and the participation of many famous Made in Italy brands. Starting from September 12th, and until January 1st, 2013, in the exhibition spaces of Krasniy Oktyabr , we will present to the Russian public the Italian excellence in sector as energy, design, furniture, fashion and innovation technology.”(red)
