Dec. 5 – On the occasion of the traditional end-of-season event, the “Ferrari World Finals,” which took place at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo de Cheste (Valencia), Lancia Thema Executive delivered a 3.0 V6 239 HP Multijet II to Fernando Alonso. The new model is characterized by a number of exclusive elements, such as bi-color leather seats, heated leather steering wheel, the dashboard upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather and real wood inserts on the console and door panels. The dashboard with chrome details and enlightened Zafiro Blue (combined with LED lighting) includes a Uconnect Touch, the highest quality touch screen electronic system of 8.4 inches. To complement the extensive standard equipment, there are: the Garmin, Sd card reader (compatible with MP3/WMA files) inputs with USB iPod control, the DVD player and dual-zone climate control. More than 70 devices relating to the active and passive safety have allowed the model to be awarded the prestigious 5-star Euro NCAP. The Lancia Thema is available with two diesel engines V6 3.0-liter Multijet II 190 and 239 hp and the powerful 3.6 V6 Pentastar 286 hp 8-speed automatic transmission.
