Dec. 6 – A project in cooperation with the Mozambique region that speaks the Modena dialect. During the summer, nine young Italians, four of which from Modena, crossed the Mozambique by bus to meet a group of young Mozambicans and embark in a path of knowledge, comparing their daily habits and participating in workshops for the production of local handicrafts . The experience was made possible by the international cooperation organized by the “Consortium Zambezia”, formed by the NGO Nexus, Mani Tese, Iscos and Arcs. The project will be shown tomorrow in “The Tent” of Molza Avenue, the facility operated by the Department for Youth Policy of the Municipality of Modena. The journey of the Modena youth will be told through images in the photographic exhibition “A sam Stè in Mozambique” with the aim of involving the public in the ” Pomar escolar – an orchard for each school” project, which involves the construction of community orchards in Zambezia schools, and in the economically disadvantaged rural region of central Mozambique. You can support the project with a donation or by purchasing cards depicting the best pictures.
