Feb. 11 – Italian producers of clothing, furs, and accessories will participate in the autumn / winter 2013-2014 Italy Fashion 2013 showcase held in Kazakhstan between April 3-5. ICE, the event coordinator, said “the statistics for the first nine months of 2012 show a further increase in Italian clothing exports by 28% in value over the corresponding period of 2011. The Kazakh market continues to stand as one of the most promising ones for Made in Italy clothing. The event in Kazakhstan, organized in conjunction to the independent exhibition of footwear, is essentially a commercial event. Thanks to the buying missions organized by ICE, the event offers manufacturers the opportunity to meet Italian operators also active in the neighboring republics, such as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.”
