Feb. 28 – A brand new film “made in Veneto” arrives in Belgium. An initiative organized by the Region for the promotion of Venetian films is, in fact, to be held in Brussels on March 4. Thanks to the collaboration of the Italian Culture Institute, the movie “Sfiorando il Muro” by Silvia Giralucci and Luca Ricciardi will be shown. Before the screening, there will be a meeting between the Venetian institutional representatives at the European Parliament and key figures in the Community, on culture and cinema to publicize the activities of the Veneto Film Commission. “This initiative – said the vice president and regional councilor for culture and performing arts of the Veneto Region – will represent an opportunity to show how the Region, local institutions, Confindustria and the Chambers of Commerce have initiated a process that enhances the local geography and that makes culture and entertainment, including film, an engine of economic development.”
