Oct. 23 – “We are pleased with the results achieved during this edition of Moda Made in Italy, especially considering the still difficult situation on the German and European markets. The numbers of exhibitors and visitors were stable compared to previous years, confirming the event as an opportunity to place orders at the end of season,” says Cleto Sagripanti, President of Assocalzaturifici, the Association representing the national footwear manufacturing industry. Sagripanti drew a positive balance for the latest edition of Moc, Moda Made in Italy, the international exhibition dedicated to Italian footwear in the high and medium-high range organized by Assocalzaturifici. During the exhibition, held October 11-13, 138 companies presented their 2014 spring-summer collections. Moc closed to the satisfaction of the exhibitors, as, despite persisting difficulties within the German market, the exhibitors had a good flow of visitors during the three days of the fair, during which they have been able to place orders with operators from the entire Central European Region. The Munich Moc represents a strategic opportunity for Italian businesses not only as an entry point into the German market, but also for neighboring markets such as Switzerland, Austria and northern Europe, as services increase for visiting operators.
