Feb. 21 – Laura Pausini is ready for the event: on March 6th, she will perform for her biggest fans at Madison Square Garden, the stage of legendary performers such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John and Led Zeppelin. Laura Pausini will perform her famous duets alongside some of the best singers from Italy and the international scene; she will sing in five languages and will be accompanied by 25 musicians. The unique and memorable concert in New York celebrates her first twenty years of career. Biagio Antonacci, longtime collaborator and author of international hits like “Tra te e il mare” and ” Vivimi,” will also be present. “Biagio is one of the best Italian music singer-songwriters, he’s a friend and a unique artist who wanted to be close to me for this American experience, not only in New York but also in Miami. I hope my fans will appreciate getting to know the author behind two of my most popular songs,” said Laura. At Madison Square Garden, Laura will also duet with Gloria Estefan, a true icon of Latin music with whom Laura performed in the album “The Standards” (nominated for a Grammy in 2014) in Italian and Spanish. “Gloria is a musical icon. For years, I had wanted to duet with her and of course I didn’t expect she would call me to work on her latest recording project. I am extremely happy she decided to be by my side at Madison Square Garden. Miguel Bosé, who is launching his album “Colección definitiva”, performed “Te Amare” with Laura – a duet that ended up in Laura’s ” 20 the greatest hits/grandes exitos” – and will be by her side in New York. “Miguel Bosé is one of the most loyal people I know in this business,” confessed Laura. Finally, the queen of Brazilian music, who sung with Laura “tudo o que Eu vivo,” Ivete Sangalo will also be on stage at Madison. “This is a dream for me. Ivete is the indiscussed queen of music for me, she has such a unique voice and she understand very well my sincere love for Brazil.” Finally, the tenor boys from Il Volo will also join Laura briefly on stage: “They have such a great talent and they’re so young. I’m very happy for their American success and getting to perform with icons such as Barbra Streisand.”
