Feb. 25 – “We’re very proud to be one of the few Italian companies that operates in twenty countries around the world, a sort of pocket-size multinational company exporting Italian services. We export a beautiful Italian model that doesn’t correspond to the image of the country in general.” With these words, the CEO of Amplifon Group, Franco Moscetti, commented the company’s success and obtainment of the 2013 Leonardo Prize for Italian Quality, delivered a few days ago during an official ceremony at the Quirinale. The award, promoted by Confindustria and ICE – the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies – is a recognition for those entrepreneurs whose companies distinguished themselves for quality, innovation, strong international outlook, sales, and production. The Amplifon Group, a leader in the distribution and application of customized hearing aids, “is recognized for the excellence of its products and services, the result of their qualified innovative capabilities and technological investments in R&D, the capillarity of its distribution network and the attention to the specific needs of its customers,” said the jury in a note. “Awards like these are always a starting point, in the business environment, each day poses a new challenge – concluded Moscetti – Today we received further fuel to continue our work, which we hope will continue for as long as possible.”
