Apr. 4 – After the success of the September events, Piedmont’s wines are back in Switzerland for “Barolo & Friends” held in Zurich on May 8. The Consortium Vini del Piemonte,” in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Switzerland, organized the mission that will see wines be the stars of the show. It is the fourth time the even is held in Zurich, bringing the very best of Piedmont’s wines and foods. There will be many occasions to learn more about Piedmont wines: wine tasting seminars, themed dinners, exclusive evenings. In addition, Barolo & Friends 2014 will host an Ethics Lottery – Adopt a Garden in Africa, which is a competition offered in cooperation with the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity. Participants may win stays in Piedmont and gourmet products. After the stop in Zurich, the Consortium “Vini del Piemonte” will be in Geneva on May 26 for the third edition of Barolo & Friends at the ” Fumisterie chez Ernest.”
