Kassel – The Italian model for wet waste collection is based on Mater-Bi compostable bio-plastic bags, a key component that has shaped the experience for Milan. All this will be presented at the conference in Kassel for German municipalities, which will be obliged to introduce the collection plan by the end of 2014. Established 1990, the “Kasseler Abfall-und Bioenergieforum” is a meeting devoted to waste management issues for key players and leading experts in the industry, government and scientists. The 2014 edition will take place at the Congress Palace in Kassel April 8-10 and will see the participation of Novamont, Novara-based company. The Italian company is participating as an exhibitor as well as speaker for its best practices, derived from the synergies between bioplastics and virtuous waste collection systems. (9Colonne)
