Istanbul – Exergy, of the SECI – Maccaferri Group, is a technological Italian company world leader in the development and production of turbines and systems for the generation of efficient energy systems. Exergy will provide three Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems for the construction of heat waste recovery facilities of Area Impianti. The systems will be installed in three production sites of the Turkish glass group Sisecam. When fully operational, the plant will produce 13.5 MW of clean energy, converting the 450°C heat from glass fumes. Exergy provides its innovative ORC technology that integrates within the thermal energy exploitation system placed in the devices for fumes treatment. Area Impianti, a company founded in 1990 in Padua, is a leader in the design, manufacture and installation of plants for fumes treatment. (9Colonne)
