July 23 – The Principality of Monaco, Austria and now Hungary: Formula1 racing cars are ready for the next Grand Prix, at the Hungaroring circuit in Budapest, and with them travels also Friuli’s culinary excellence. In pole position, next to the drivers, Friuli brings its wine from the eastern hills of the Specogna Corno di Rosazzo farm (Ud), and its prosciutto San Daniele Levi from Bottega del Prosciutto di San Daniele del Friuli. Producers Cristian Specogna and Levi Gregoris gave birth to a perfect match in the Scuderia Ferrari paddock during the recent Grand Prix in Austria, and are now preparing for an encore, July 25-27. “Exports account for about half of our revenues – explains Specogna – not only to the EU, but also to Eastern Europe and even Australia. For us, it’s a pleasure to participate in Formula1 events because it gives us the possibility to associate both Ferrari’s excellence and our products to great Italian quality.”
