Aug. 1 – Within the event “Suona Italiano,” an exhibition that promotes Italian music abroad, on Thursday, September 4, the Italian Cultural Institute in London will host the show “Cu nèsci arrinèsci” (loosely translated as “those who leave find fortune”) featuring Eleanor Bordonaro (vocals) and Mario Incudine (vocals and guitar). The two – who share a passion for popular music – are the latest revelation from Sicily’s musical scene. While remaining faithful to the melodies and traditions of their land, they offer a unique and original reinterpretations of songs, tales, and popular poems. The artists redefined and reinvented popular music and are ready for London’s audiences: their voices evoke the history and richness of an ancient world, made of loves and battles. Their concert will feature original arrangements of songs on manual labor, love and religion. “Cu nèsci arrinèsci” will be held at the headquarters of the Italian Cultural Institute, which promoted the event in collaboration with Free Online Event Booking.
