Oct. 20 – Expo2015 is a step closer to London, where the first World’s Fair took place in 1851, thanks to the World Expo Tour of the Lombardy Region, which is promoting the Milan Expo worldwide. “For six months of 2015, Lombardy will be the center of the world, and Milan will be the capital of Europe. We are ready, as always, to do our part. I say this as President of the Lombardy Region, and as an Italian,” said the President of the Lombardy Region, Roberto Maroni, speaking at the opening session of the Climate, Food and Human Health meeting of the Anglo-Italian symposium dedicated to the Milan Expo.
