Dec. 14 – The European Commission has approved, with a very positive comment, the Plan for the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers put forth by the University of Macerata, allowing the use of the prestigious University logo “Excellence in Research”. The European Charter express the general principles that should guide the recruitment and exploitation of researchers at every stage of their career, with particular attention to youth policies, equal opportunities, as well as interdisciplinary and international routes. The project is the result of the work of the University of Macerata’s Departments and the Administration, under the coordination of Professor Francesca Spigarelli, delegate of the Dean on the matter. The Dean, Luigi Lacchè, expressed deep appreciation for the work done: “this important recognition challenges us to promote an increasingly interdisciplinary and international approach, and to support the careers of young researchers.”
