Brussels – Italians will be agents of change, giving Europe a look into the Italy of the future, made of successes, discoveries and innovation thanks to an event promoted by the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Agency for Digital Italy, and Digital Champion Italia. The event, labelled Italian Innovation Day, presents in a 90-minute video what 2014 was all about for Italy. The video includes inserts on Fabiola Gianotti, newly-appointed director of CERN in Geneva, Samantha Cristoforetti’s first orbit on the International Space Station, the Stefano Boeri skyscraper chosen as the most beautiful building in the world, and the Ebola vaccine developed by a startup in Pomezia among others. The screening closes the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and will be streamed live from the Bozar theater in Brussels tomorrow, December 18, from 1.30pm to 3pm (9Colonne)
