London – The names of the finalists in the Professionals, Open and Youth categories of the Sony World Photography Awards 2015 were announced today. The Awards reward the best of contemporary photography, and this year the finalist list includes 19 Italians. The Professionals category awards a cash prize of $25.000 dollars and the recognition Iris d’Or / Photographer of the Year. The winners will be announced during the Sony World Photography Awards gala ceremony, scheduled in London on April 23. All winners will receive a set of digital cameras from Sony. The winning and finalist photographs will be exhibited in London at Somerset House, from April 24 to May 10, and published in Sony World Photography Awards 2015 Edition. (9Colonne)
