Šiauliai – 2 months after the start of block 38 for the Baltic Air Policing mission in Lithuania, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Force General Pasquale Preziosa, and Air Force General Maurizio Lodovisi, Commander of the Air Force, have met the Italian redeployment of the Task Force Air (TFA) present in Šiauliai. The two were welcomed by Col. Vito Cracas; after the ceremony General Preziosa addressed the Italian team, thanking them for the work of the men and women, their ethics, passion, skill and discipline to operate receiving consistently excellent results recognized by both Italy and NATO: “You have shown you have the ability, professionalism and training in flight and on the ground, bringing home excellent results. You are an example and a model for many other armed forces abroad. The qualities shown and owned demonstrate the concept of Air Superiority that the Italian Air Force is continuing to export to many countries.” (9Colonne)
