Tyre – With the inauguration of the road that connects the town of Ma’rakah to the nearby village of Yanuh, planned since 1968 and never built by the local authorities, comes to an end a week full of events for the projects developed Italy’s civil military cooperation (CIMIC) managed by the Italian contingent of UNIFIL. The Friuli Aircraft Brigade under the command of General Salvatore Cuoci delivered new roads in the municipalities of Dahira and Al Balayyad, while yesterday they opened a road lighting system with solar energy in the municipality of Yarin. Particularly important, in this last project, is the environmental aspect of the project, which aims not only to ensure the municipalities with increased road safety, but also to introduce the concept of eco-compatibility in the implementation phase.
