2 September, 2015 – Buenos Aires is getting ready to host the exhibition “Luca – The Italian imaginary”, a tribute to the Italian 20th century as designed and supervised by the Instituto Luce – Cinecittà. The display was recently presented at the Vittoriano in Rome with visitors gathering enthusiastically. The exhibition, curated by Roland Sejko, tells the story of the Luce Institute since its foundation in 1924. The country’s evolution through the decades is told in two perspectives: how Italy was represented year after year by the Institute’s records; and how the country appeared in its official representations. The result is a great visual and auditory impact. The exhibition, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Lazio Region, and in collaboration with Roma Capitale, holds the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic.
