Tunis – The University of Palermo (Unipa) has passed the selection process for the granting of funds to promote the mobility of students and teachers, under the Erasmus + program of 2015 destined to partnerships with universities outside Europe. “The program, which lasts two years – says the International Relations Dean of the Sicilian university Pasquale Assennato – will be activated with the academic year 2015/2016 and will be used to support double university degree programs already under way with the University El-Manar in Tunis, activated for the MSc in Cooperation and Development and Communication Theories. The grant will also cover the MSc in Economics and Finance, for which we are currently defining the procedures for the double degree program.” The project was evaluated positively, received a score of 86 out of the 77 required for admission, and has received a funding of €256,000 in support of mobility: for students to pursue to ECTS; for professors to exchange learning and teaching methods; and for the activities that will involve international organizations and companies operating between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
