December 18th, 2015 – “E’ cosa ‘e niente” is something the main character in “Per amor vostro” often repeats when unexpected events occur. Anna is what Italians call “an empty head” who is able to dream, love, dance and believe in a better future. And this is what allows her to rise, wake up, and change, leave a world in which she doesn’t belong. Anna is played by Valeria Golino in Giuseppe M. Gaudino’s “Per amor vostro.” The film was well received at the latest Venice Film Festival, with nine minutes of applause for Golino, who ended up winning the Coppa Volpi for Best Actress in the same Festival. The film also stars Massimiliano Gallo, Adriano Giannini, Elisabetta Mirra and Edoardo Crò. And now, this contemporary masterpiece will be screened at the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels on Monday, January 11 at 7pm. (PO / red)
