(4 March 2016) Chiara Gamberale will be in Tirana for an encounter with her Albanian public on March 31. The event, scheduled at the UNESCO National Historic Museum of the Albanian capital (at 6pm), will see the author present the Albanian-language version of two novels “Per dieci minuti” and “Le luci nelle case degli altri”. The conference is sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with Toena and Pegi publishers. “Per dieci minuti” is the story of a young 36-year-old woman who believed she had achieved all the dreams in her life. But not always what we believe in coincides with the reality in which we live. “Le luci nelle case degli altri” tells the story of Mandorla, the happy child of a single mother full of fantasy. Maria, the mother, works as a real estate administrator and has the special gift to transform any condominium meeting in a poignant group therapy session. When Maria dies in a car accident, the via Grotta Perfetta 31c inhabitants, those who loved her the most, discover from a letter that Mandorla was conceived in their building: but on who the father is, the letter is silent.
