Vilnius – Bruno Munari (Milan, October 24, 1907 – Milan, 30 September 1998) was a sculptor, an illustrator, a graphic designer, and a writer; a versatile Milanese artist now at the center of an initiative promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute of Vilnius (Universiteto g. 4). “Communicating visually,” scheduled for April 8 (at 4:30pm), answers questions like: What is graphics? Who are designers? How does creative logic work? Mario Di Pasquale (web designer) and Eros Banchellini (graphic designer) will answer these and more questions during the conference dedicated to one of the greatest protagonists of the 20th century. During the meeting, the two will discuss “Design and visual communication” (Laterza, Bari, 1968), one of the most famous and important books by Munari. (9Colonne)
