(18 May 2016) To promote the language and Italian culture in the United States: this is the goal of the collaboration between the Italian Embassy in Washington and Eduitalia, an association of eighty qualified schools and universities offering courses to foreign students in Italy. The result of a partnership between the embassy and the association are as many as 22 scholarships (allocated between those eligible, or to students who have passed the AP Italian Language and Culture exam) which will allow many young people to live an unforgettable experience in the beautiful country. The scholarships cover the enrollment fees, courses, housing, educational materials and extracurricular activities. The Eduitalia mission is “to enhance and spread the offer of training abroad to member schools and universities. Eduitalia contributes both to stimulate cultural tourism in Italy, and to facilitate the reception of foreign students. ” (Red)
