(July 12, 2016) In the ambit of the culture and informative activities in favor of the compatriots abroad, the Office II of the General Direction for the Italians abroad and the migration policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, financed in 2015 (with funds of the budget chapters 3122) the realization of a project of a documentary movie called “The Italian Way”, produced by the company Stamen Film and directed by Luigi Maria Perotti. The aim is to illustrate the stories of some young compatriots which, after facing the expatriation test, they settled abroad and they successfully established themselves in their respective professions, in order to try to identify if and how the perception of the pros and cons linked to being italian is nowadays perceived abroad.
