(July 15, 2016) Italy took part as guest country at Innoprom Fair in Ekaterinburg, the main Russian international fair in the Sverdlovsk region. Articulated in various thematic areas (industrial automation, mechanical engineering, metropolitan technologies, component manufacturing for mechanic engineering industry, power engineering technologies and technologies for metal working machinery), the Fair focused on ‘industrial networks’. “Mechanical engineering remains the leading sector in the context of Italian export in Russia” declared Ambassador Cesare Maria Ragalini. “The modernisation of the economic system is a priority of the Authorities of the Russian Federation regarding infrastructure whose adaptation is indispensable to the development of the country. This is a great opportunity for Italian companies to put their own technologies and know-how on display. After their role in the International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg, Italy also participated in Innoprom with important companies and associations, united at the national pavilion. In this way, Italy moves towards major investments, joint ventures and more industrial collaborations between our two countries” concluded the Italian Ambassador.
