Basel. The Italian Consul to Basel, Michele Camerota, nominated Cav. Franco Mancini as consular correspondent in the Giura Canton for the areas of Delémont and Porrentruy. The Consul stated “Mr. Mancini has previously served as correspondent and was forced to interrupt his duties due to personal reasons. I warmly welcome his return, well aware of his good reputation and the Italian public and Giura authorities esteem”. “This nomination represents an ulterior reinforcement of the team of consular correspondents for the Consulate of Basel, who are now up to 15 members after the recent nomination of Mrs. Gregis for the Wettingen area (in Aargau), thus strengthening the areas outside of Basel.
