Zagreb. The objective of the European I-SEE was: consolidation the exchange of information on New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) between Italy and South-East European neighbouring countries about New Psychoactive Substances (NPS), coordinated by a research team from the University of Florence lead by Elisabetta Bertol (Professor of Legal Medicine, Department of Health Sciences). As posted on the University’s webpage, the project was concluded and its results have been presented in a meeting with the Chancellor of the University, Luigi Dei. Bertol explains, “the main goal of the venture-which has involved drug alert centres in Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia- was to strengthen the exchange of information on New Psychoactive Substances between Italy and bordering nations. In order to achieve this; local authorities, laboratory analysts, clinics and NGO health units have been brought on board”. (9colonne)
