Abu Dhabi. ENEL has installed two photovoltaic cells at the Italian Embassy in Abu Dhabi in the context of the “Green Embassy” project promoted by the division for renewable resources of ENEL Group, ENEL Green Power in collaboration with the Ministry for Foreign Fffairs and International cooperation as well as the Italian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The two photovoltaic systems at the Italian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, with a 17 kWp and 10 kWp respectively, have been installed on the roofs and car parks around the Embassy and are capable of generating 48,000 kWh per year thus covering approximately 1/5th of the Embassy’s energy needs and thus reducing 35,000 tonnes of Carbone Emissions per year.
