Manchester. A group of researchers from the University of Manchester and the University of Pisa have shown the ability to create electronic circuits and devices using a new technology based on inkjet printing of graphene and other two-dimensional materials. The research group of Manchester University, led by Professor Cinzia Casiraghi, has developed a method for the production of water-based inks containing two dimensional materials, which could transform the hetero-structures of two-dimensional crystals from laboratory products into commercial products. With these inks, researchers from the University of Pisa and Manchester have created digital memories. (9Colonne)
