Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, at the end of the conversation with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Honduras, Maria Dolores Aguero Lara: “The reopening of the Honduran Embassy to Rome will help to further strengthen our good relations. The Italian business community in Honduras is very dynamic, particularly in the infrastructure, mining, and hydroelectric, tourist, and restaurant sectors. Italy is also fully committed to the implementation of cooperation initiatives already undertaken, both bilaterally and within regional initiatives. In this context, the next 8th Italy – Latin America and Caribbean Conference in December in Rome, will be the most important event in Italian-Latin American relations, to which we will make a significant cut for exploring topics of greatest interest during specific panels and the adoption of specific action plans”.
