Bern – OVS has completed the transformation of approximately 140 Charles Vögele stores in Switzerland and thus secured 150 new jobs. The Italtrade office in Bern communicated this. OVS’s goal is to overcome and compete with giants H & M and Migros, for years “unrivaled” in the sale of clothing in Switzerland. OVS is the most important chain in the Italian clothing market, with double market shares compared to H & M and Zara. Today, the group has more than 1,500 outlets, out of which 192 are out of Italy. “This Swiss operation is our biggest bet abroad,” said Alessandro Montalbano, director of OVS in Switzerland.
