(21 September, 2017) Michelangelo Antonioni’s cinema is featured in Stockholm. Ten years after his death (30 July, 2007 in Rome), the city of Stockholm pays a tribute to the great Italian film director – a Maestro admired in Italy and praised abroad – with screenings of his masterpieces. The retrospective dedicated to Antonioni (August 19th – September 30th) was organised by the Italian Institute of Culture of Stockholm in collaboration with Cineteca di Stoccolma (Filmhuset) where the films will be screened. This evening (18:00, Cinemateket, Filmhuset, Stockholm) will feature “L’Avventura” (The Adventure) (1960) starring Gabriele Ferzetti, Monica Vitti, Lea Massari, and Renzo Ricci. On Sunday, September 24th (16:00) will be “Il Grido” (The Cry) (1957) starring Gabriella Pallotta, Steve Cochran, Alida Valli, and Dorian Gray. (red)
