Lisbon. The seventh edition of Lumina Festival da Luz 2018, produced by OCUBO.com, co-produced by the Municipality of Cascais, will be held from September 21st to 23rd in Portugal, with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture in Lisbon. For Italy, the artist Alessandro Lupi will be present upon the invitation of the Italian Cultural Institute, who will exhibit the work “Tetrahedron” at the Parque Marechal Carmona. The installation “Tetrahedron” brings the aesthetics of the essential of the virtual to three-dimensional reality, allowing viewers to interact with the work thanks to a simple and direct technology, such as rubber bands, ropes, and pulleys. By pulling the strings and moving across space, the audience can experience something never seen before: the illusions of perspective and plastic deformations in an immediate, tangible, and interconnected way. This allows viewers to visually and physically dive into an experience shared with others. (9Colonne)
