New York – From October 18th to 24th, the Italian Cultural Institute of New York will participate in the 21st week of the Italian language in the world entitled “Dante, the Italian” by offering a week of events created for the occasion on stanzaitaliane.it. On the other hand, the “musical” composition “The sound of Dante” by Mariateresa Sartori is already available in the “Dante’s Rooms”, a project created in collaboration with the Querini Stampalia Foundation. It is a composition based on the sound material of the Divine Comedy: Dante’s verses are recited through a method of dislocating consonants that shifts the attention from the semantic to the rhythmic and sonorous level.
