Oct. 3 – “Twenty years of international success for Amarone” is the title of the American stop of the world tour organized by the Amarone Art Families. The event, organized on collaboration with the Wine Spectator Review, debuts today at the New York Public Library. The day will be dedicated to discovering Amarone and other “made in Valpolicella” products via a seminar, a tasting, and various walk-around tastings. The famous library, visited yearly by 15 million people, will be the perfect setting for the encounter of these Italian families, who have dedicated generations to the perfection of their products, with American entrepreneurs. After New York, they will head to Canada, first importing market of their products – with a market-selling quota higher than Italy – in Calgary. Here, the families will meet with the main exponents of Canadian trade and with the opinion leaders of walk-around tastings dedicated to Theater Junction Grand and Willow Park Wines and Spirits. The 12 Amarone Art Families are: Allegrini, Begali, Brigaldara, Masi Agricola, Musella, Nicolis, Speri, Tedeschi, Tenuta Sant’Antonio, Tommasi, Venturini, Zenato.
