Jan. 29 – Italy flies once again to France, with the Chamber of Commerce of Savona participating at the International Fair for Restaurant, Hotel industry and Food – Sirha – which kicked off in Lyon on Saturday and will end tomorrow. Together with agribusiness companies from Savona, there are eight other Italian Chambers of Commerce and four regional unions. Their stand, of 36 square meters, is equipped with a kitchen island where chefs prepare typical regional dishes, offering tasting to visitors and guests. “It is essential for us to participate in events such as Sirha – said the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Savona, Luciano Pasquale – because they represent an opportunity for many interesting business contacts, in line with the strategic objective of strengthening the presence of our companies on foreign markets, and strengthen policies for the promotion of networks and all other forms of association between small companies, in the context of a unified image of Italian products linked to the Mediterranean diet.” The Savona presence consists of several product lines: pesto, meats, bitter orange cakes, wine, olive oil, fruit and vegetables. Sirha represents a unique opportunity for high quality local firms to gain an international audience.
