Feb. 11 – Federica Pellegrini and Filippo Magnini, from next September, will be in France to train. The golden pair of Italian swimming has announced Philippe Lucas of the technical center of Narbonne will coach them. In a footnote, they also state “the training calendar will be finalized on Feb. 24, when the French will be in Verona.” “From next September I’ll be moving to Narbonne and there I’ll start the three years of training that will accompany me to the 2016 Rio Olympics,” explained Pellegrini who will be accompanied by her colleague and partner in life, Filippo Magnini, who claims “I also confirm that I have complete confidence in Lucas and I will consider joinin the team in Narbonne after the end of the Barcelona World Cup.”
