July 5 – “I bring my music abroad: I sing in four languages in my latest album for a global distribution,” says singer Nino Buonocore who is ready to present his world of emotions and colors with his new album entitled “Segnali di umana presenza” (Hydra Music/Goodfellas). The LP is released 9 years after his “Alti e Bassi” and it has been designed for global distribution, in countries including France, the United States, the UK, Brazil, and Spain. Long periods between releases are not a novelty for this songwriter, however, in this case, the long gestation period served to meticulously register the album’s characteristics. Buonocore, who for this album oversaw production and arrangements, is satisfied with the new conditions that allow recording companies to bring new projects to light in the best way possible: “Now everything has changed, music has become ‘liquid’ and there are no recording references.” The album contains 12 new songs written (as always) with Michele De Vitis “Millenovecento73”, “L’uomo nuovo”, “Tienimi stretto”, “L’amore che non vedi”, “Il lessico del cuore”, “D’ora in poi”, “Tutto un altro film”, “La stessa”, “Passeggiando (con me)”, “Quello che immaginavi”, “Serena” and “Un amore qualunque.” Nino Buonocore’s songs have served as soundtrack to many generations thanks to hits such as “Scrivimi”, “Rosanna”, “Il Mandorlo,” and “Boulevard” that are part of Italy’s collective imagination and made the songwriter’s fortune.
