Bogota – It is held from today until Friday a multi-sector trade mission of Italian companies in Bogotá, organized by the Italian Foreign Trade Association – AICE. Colombia has a free trade agreement with the EU in force since August 1st, 2013 and has concluded or is negotiating a number of bilateral agreements. President Santos has developed a National Development Plan called “Prosperidad para todos” for a growing economy, based on a more equitable distribution of income. The plan contemplates investments of 195 billion euros, of which 126 billion from the public and 69 billion from the private sector, and it can be summed up in those same Santos called the five “locomotives of development” (infrastructure, residential buildings, agriculture, oil and mines, innovation).
