Dec. 11 – The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Unimore) has formalized its collaboration with the CERN in Geneva by adopting a protocol to define and refine the terms of participation of students and researchers in the Challenge Based Innovation program. The agreement has been recently signed in Geneva, in the presence of Vice-Dean Sergio Ferrari and the Director of the Department of Methods Eugenio Dragoni (representing the University of Modena and Regio Emilia) and the Director of Research and Scientific Computing at CERN, Sergio Bertolucci. “For our University – said Dean Angelo O. Andrisano – a partnership with such a prestigious institution is certainly a source of pride that shows, among other things, the commitment of Unimore to seize all opportunities that come from abroad. This agreement is useful for our students, who can approach the world with an open mind, and truly engage in international studies and research. We hope this agreement helps us prepare our students to become the professionals that can meet the challenges and expectations of the contemporary business world. We thus aim to shape students and young professionals throught excellent preparation, competencies in their field and the capacity to develop innovative ideas.” (Red)
