November 5th, 2015 – The University of Palermo is one of the four Italian universities that will be in Shanghai on November 14 for the “Sino-Italian Workshop on Sustainable Manufacturing”. Professor Antonio Piacentino, Associate Professor of Physics at the Department of Industrial Energy, Engineering and Mathematical Models, has been in fact invited to be a part of the Italian delegation that will attend the event. The workshop, sponsored by the Italian Embassy in China and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), was conceived in the framework of bilateral cooperation between Italy and China in science and technology, and is mainly directed at operators of major industrial companies present in China, both in the field of heavy industry and the manufacturing sector.
