(16 February 2016) The Conference of Italian Researchers in the World is an initiative that aims to bring citizens closer to the places that carry out scientific research, uniting the world of the humanities to scientific culture, and reversing the contrast between these two worlds. The 11th edition of the Conference is scheduled on 26-27 February at the Auditorium of the Italian Consulate General in Houston. Organized by the Houston Comites – which covers the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas – in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy, ddthe event will involve leading figures from the worlds of science and technology, medicine and humanities whose activities are linked to Italy. The Conference is open to the whole community, scientific or otherwise, and will serve to turn the spotlight on the activities carried out by Italian researchers in the US. (Red)
