Kabul. In recent days, some Italian troops of the Italian contingent operating in Afghanistan have conducted a complex Aeromedical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) drill to test procedures, coordination and reaction time of all the different components which have to intervene in case of urgent medical transport by helicopter. It is a very important to maintain the highest levels of efficiency and readiness for intervention at all times in the sensitive Afghan context. The activity was coordinated by the Train Advise Assist Command West (TAAC W) under Italian command, as part of the Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan. (9Colonne)
