Ljubljana. The regional government of Friuli Venezia Giulia, upon the proposal of the Civil Defence Paul Panontin, passed a resolution authorising the Civil Protection of Friuli Venezia Giulia in the realization of planned activities through the acquisition of necessary goods and services, by the Alpdiris project – Alpine Disaster Relief for Italy and Slovenia, under the Community Programme, “Prevention and preparedness projects in civil protection and marine pollution”. The main objective of this project is to improve the sharing of digital information in cross-border rescue missions in hostile environments and uneven terrain, particularly in the neighboring areas between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia, elevating the safety standards.
